Vatican II's Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy has this to say: "In the Latin Church the pipe organ is to be held in high esteem, for it is the traditional musical instrument which adds a wonderful splendor to the Church's ceremonies and powerfully lifts up man's mind to God and to higher things. (Art.120)
Mirabilia Dei Children's Choir members are required to learn basic note reading needed in learning their choral pieces. Aside from singing, the members also have the priviledge to learn how to play music instruments such as the organ, primarily to accompany the choir in singing the mass.
The members who are interested and willing to learn are taught both in electric regular organ and electric pipe organ. They are taught and trained for free by Ms. Angelita Moris, MDCC's regular accompanist and another Music graduate from St. Scholastica's College School of Music. Two of her students among the members can already assist and accompany in the mass themselves.
